The DCG is not working (Error on the Home page saying Dynamic Content Gallery (Error: View page source for details.) and warning in the settings that says (Warning: Warning! You are using the "ID Method" Gallery Method. You must enter at least two valid Post/Page ID's in the ID Method settings in the Gallery Method tab.)
I want to link to page id's but my permalinks are set to Day and name.
Question #1: What am I doing wrong? I am reading the documentation but not tracking very well.
Question #2: How do I setup DCG to just specify the image url, Slide Pane Description and External link in the DCG Metabox and not have to fiddle with anything else.
Thanks for your help.

OfflineHi,
The error message says it all:
Warning: Warning! You are using the "ID Method" Gallery Method. You must enter at least two valid Post/Page ID's in the ID Method settings in the Gallery Method tab.
This means that you haven't entered any Page ID's in the appropriate box in the DCG Settings page. ID's have nothing to do with permalinks in this context. Every page and post has an ID. Easy way to find it is to go to Dashboard>Pages, then mouseover the relevant Page Title and you should see a URL in your browser status bar. The URL contains the ID number, eg …?post=123&… The 123 is the ID number.
Make sense?
