How Do I Change The Black Background Of The DCG?
Status: fixed

I have pretty successfully customized all the other parts except this one. The black background is driving me crazy.

In firebug, the path I get for this area is: http://lastshredsofsanity.com/wp-content/plugins/d…..allery.css

But I have yet to find the file that I can edit. Can someone help please?

Also, under neath the gallery, I have a ">" but I cannot figure out where it is coming from so I can fix it.

Hi,

Regarding the ">", you probably have some stray markup in your template file (or in the plugin code – if you've been hacking that).

For the background colour, add this to your theme's style.css:

.jdGallery .slideElement {
background-color: #FFFFFF !important;
}

Thank you. I found the ">" and removed it. I also changed the background of the gallery when pictures are being shown. However, when the page or gallery is loading, the background is still black.

Any way to fix that completely?

Hi,

Did the CSS I gave you not work?

It did, however, as the page is loading, it is still black then it turns to the color I set it at. I assumed it would just change it completely but it didn't. It's a personal design thing for me. I don't like the black. LOL

Ok, understood.

I haven't looked closely, but it looks like the script defaults the background colour to black. I'll have a look into it and post back in a day or so.
