I'm setting up a list website and I want to randomly feature items on the list. Is there any way to do this? I am using the current plugin (just downloaded today) and the newest Genesis themes.

This is still the best plugin of the kind, but it would be very nice not having the same opening picture every time.

Excellent plugin. Discovered it through StudioPress. I too am looking forward to have the option to have content displayed randomly.
(Question: With the orderby random implementation, let's say I have 30 posts in a category and I'm using the "one category" gallery method. Will DCG randonly pull up to 15 of those posts and display those 15 randomly? Or will it still use the 15 most recent posts, in order by DESC and display those randomly? If it's an option, the first scenario would make the implementation perfect IMHO).

Good question. Most likely it will be the latter because that's the way wp_query works – select a group of posts, then order by RAND. But I'll look at your first suggestion, too, just in case there is an efficient way of doing this.
