Hello – Thank you for such a great plugin!

I am developing a new site for the nonprofit I work for. I'm using Wordpress 3.31 and Dynamic Content Gallery 3.3.5.

The site is currently hosted here: http://www.artguero.com/NEWstreetsense/

One of the main goals here, is to make the posting process as easy as possible, so that an volunteer, intern, or staff member a like is able to update the site. Part of this is using one link for any image used (the largest version of any photos, hosted on Flickr) when updating, and the site then automatically adjusting the image for its purposes. (The site currently scales images down to the max width for posts, and auto-generates thumbnails).

The Dynamic Content Gallery for featured content on the home page scales to the correct width, and crops off any excess – which is perfect! The hang up which I face, is that it of course aligns to top, which leaves the bottom 2/3s of the featured image cut off. I was wondering if there is a way vertically center the image instead, like the gallery already does when images are smaller than the gallery height.

Thank you for any and all help.

Hi,

Glad you like the plugin.

No, centering of an oversize image isn't possible. My advice is to try out the DCG version 4.0 beta which creates correctly sized images based on your gallery width and height settings. See like near top of this page.
