If you've been following the beta and RC releases of Wordpress 2.7 you will no doubt be aware that the entire Dashboard has undergone a major facelift. 

The Admin menus are completely redesigned and now incorporate a drop-down effect which, sadly, means that there will no longer be any need to use a plugin like Admin Drop Down Menus.  Therefore this plugin will not be compatible with WP 2.7, and there will be no further development of this plugin.

On the positive side, it is pleasing to note that the WP development team has recognised the huge usability benefits of this type of menu. Although the new menu system is not directly derived from this plugin, it is nice to think that the popularity and success of Andy's plugin has been an inspiration to the developers.

For those users who continue with sub-2.7 versions of Wordpress I shall continue to provide the plugin via this site.
