Why did I lose my DCG 3.3.5 when I upgraded to WP 3.0.3 the latest version? I had 4 pictures scrolling. Now, nothing.

My site http://www.EarnOnADime.com.

Any help is appreciated.

Joe,

No idea – DCG works fine with 3.0.3.

Looking at your site now, I can see the DCG working properly.

I read one of your trouble shoots and it restored my DCG afte the WP upgrade. Today, however, I added a new post and inserted a thumnail into it and now I lost my GCG again!?

Any help?

ANSWER: Okay, I had a clash of plugins indeed! After I upgraded a plugin called "Featured Content Gallery" by iePlexus, my DCG disappeared. I read the Configuration Guide and FAQ for DCG and deactivated all my plugins until I got my DCG back. I reactivated all my other plugins except for this culprit which will remain deactivated or deleted.

Hope this helps someone else with the same frustrating issue.

Hi,

No, you can't run the Featured Content Gallery and the Dynamic Content Gallery on the same site – unless you configure the DCG to use jQuery. In other words, by default both plugins will try to load mootools, which will cause a problem.

Anyway, glad you sorted it out. Smile
