I'm using the Gallery method, multi-option. and my path to my photos is correct. However, I've uploaded new photos to the directory and in my posts, embedded the new photos. I've removed all my cached files and even did a dnsflush. However, I'm seeing the old photos in there. It's an absolute mystery.
Any ideas?

I assume you are using the "Auto" Image management method? If so, the DCG pulls in teh first image attachment – ie a second image added to the post will not appear in the DCG.
If you are using "Full" or "Partial" Image Management options, you need to enter the image URL in the DCG Metabox in the relevant Post/Page editor screens.
