I'm using the latest version of Wordpress. Everything is working like a charm except the post titles do not show.

The description is visible but the titles are not. Could you please suggest a solution…

My theme uses cufon font replacement in case that has any relevance…

Hi,

Can you post a link to your site?

Hi! My website is at:
http://thespiritualsphere.com

I'm getting a black box ever since I upgraded the plugin. I reset the options to default but there seems to be some trouble with the javascript loading or something… I hope you can help me soon! Can't have the black box show up for long, doesn't look nice for the visitors…

Switch to jQuery. You will find this option in the DCG Settings page > Javascript options tab.

IT shows nothing at all when I switch to jquery…
My menu uses jquery so anything else I use with jquery never works because they seem to be in conflict… So I guess the only way out for me is to use mootools… Can you please check again and see why it isn't working…
I also tried downgrading the plugin to 3.2 and the script started working then but it wouldn't let me save options…
Thanks for your help :)

Hi,

Downgrading isn't possible without losing the existing settings. Therefore, to do a proper downgrade, deactivate then delete the plugin via the Dashboard>Plugins menu. Deleting files via FTP won't remove the options from the database, hence the problem when trying to save options.

Anyway, that was just for info…

Back to your original problem, I can see that you currently have mootools activated. I am sure that this is conflicting with your other javascript-based plugins. What happens, exactly, when you switch to jQuery?

Oh! I see, so if nothing else works I guess I will downgrade it through wordpress although I am hoping that I can get the new version to work specially because I hate adding and resizing the images manually…

As for your question, when I use jquery, I get nothing as in no black box, no errors nothing. The site shows up as usual as if I don't have the gallery at all…

I did upgrade quite a few of the plugins together which might be the reason for the mootools conflict. I am running quite a few plugins so I don't know how to check which one is causing the conflict unless I manually enable/disable each one…If you can get any hint from the view source to the website as to which code might be causing the conflict, it might be easier to spot the plugin in question… I'll try and disable a few to see if that makes it work…but I do hope you can figure out a way to get the mootools thing to work because I have tried several slideshow plugins which use jquery but nothing has ever worked.

Thanks again!

Hi,

Try disabling Cufon and Lightbox and the jQuery form (?).

Ok, I've downgraded it and it's working now, but the titles are still not available. Can you please check what could be the problem…

Unfortunately, I can't really tell from the front end what's going on. I'm pretty sure this is a javascript issue and that disabling all other plugins and any theme-derived javascript is the only way to tell for sure. If you like, you can send me an admin login and password (via PM) and I'll take a look.
