Hello, I have DCG installed on a site and everything is working except thumbnails are cropped versions and the title text is on top of thumbnails. I did switch to Use Post Thumbnails but I am not really understanding how this works? We are adding the slider image in the Dynamic Content Gallery Metabox- is the thumbnail generated from there? The documentation says to use featured image and I have even tried setting an image in there but it is still cropped.

Hi,

Looks like some theme CSS is interfering with the DCG CSS. I'll post back later today once I'm in front of my computer.

Yes, it's a CSS conflict with your theme. You will have to add this to style.css:

.jdGallery .carousel .label {
margin: 0px !important;
}

Tip: Firebug add-on for Firefox is perfect for finding this sort of CSS issue.

Thank you! That resolved the issue with the text overlapping the thumbnails but the thumbnails are still showing as cropped images instead of resized images.

I do have: Use Post Thumbnails selected. Ideas?

Yes, I have set the featured image for the posts but and the images still look cropped not resized. Are there certain dimensions I should be using for the featured image? Right now it is set to the same dimensions as the actual slideshow.

According to what I can see in your page source, namely the class the plugin adds to the thumbnail img tag ("dfcg-postthumb-notset"), featured images haven't been set for these posts. Can you re-check?
