I set up the Dynamic Content Gallery on my blog, using the StudioPress Agent Theme. It changes images perfectly.

However, I have a small problem: If I click on the tab, the images show well. Now, if I hover over the images, the Carousel eventually gets stuck on the left-hand side of the Gallery:

I would like to fix this, but I have no idea how to do it. I would appreciate your help.  Thanks!

Hi,

Yes, I can see the problem on your site.

I can't reproduce this issue on my Genesis test setup, which suggests a javascript conflict with another of your plugins. Try disabling other plugins which use javascript and see what happens.

I disabled and deleted just about every plugin, and the problem persists. The only two that remain active are Akismet and Dynamic Content Gallery:

Frankly, I'm a little baffled. What about that Google translation bar? Did you disable that too?

That is what was doing it – thanks! Cool  It is amazing, but fresh eyes, and what I like to call a "cold-eyes review", can spot things better than anything else.

Do you know of a good translator that is not likely to interfere with the thumbnail carousel? Or is just ablut anything driven with javascript likely to cause the problem?

Al,

Glad we found the reason for the problem. Smile

You could change the DCG to use the jQuery framework rather than mootools – though this doesn't have a carousel.

As for an alternative translator, I must say I'm not keen on auto-translators – the translations are never great. Sorry, I don't know of an alternative. Confused

UPDATE!

On my test site, http://testsite.sandal-woodsblog.com/ , I installed the Translator, and the thumbnail Carousel is working fine. The test site is currently using the Streamlin Child Theme, though. I know you will be interested in this particular nugget. Smile
