This is on my test site, http://testsite.sandal-woodsblog.com . And I also posted this at the StudioPress Support forum for the Streamline Child Theme.

I have been copying new articles from my regular blog, http://sandal-woodsblog.com , to keep the test site populated with posts and to see where I might need to change my ways with the Child Themes. This is the looonnnggg part of the story.

Now to the nitty gritty:

  1. Made my latest blog entry at the regular blog – all is OK with DCG, thumb for the article, etc., etc. Even made the videothumb for the new video embedded within the latest entry. I was a happy camper.
  2. Then I simply copied and pasted the html from this successful entry into a new entry on my test site.
  3. Uploaded the image I wanted as a thumbnail for the article, and published it.
  4. The entry's thumb looks great – but the DCG does not include the image for this blog entry…
  5. I have entered the information for the Custom fields: articleimg, enclosure, thumb, and thumbnailimg. Due to the problem I noticed, I eliminated some, to determine if I was duplicating information. No-go.
  6. I need your help to figure out what might be going on.
  7. As a result of this problem, I removed the Google Translator – simply removed the Text widget from the top sidebar.
  8. I am puzzled, because everything was going great, until this latest blog entry.
  9. This is the first blog entry in which I have video and also where I have entered the Custom Fields. Hmmmm….Maybe I need to add some Custom Fields to other entries that have video embedded. I will do this right after I enter this into the database.
  10. I have entered the image URL for DCG, and also have selected the thumbnail (thus, it shows up on the summaries, right below the DGC).
  11. I have tried entering the full URL, which my hosting company does not like me to do (i.e., did not work, as DCG would not pick up the images.)
  12. Be back shortly…

Thanks for any and all suggestions.

I have NO idea what I have done, but DCG is working properly once again. It is most embarassing not being able to tell you what the problem might have been…
