I have 3.3.5 and until recently it was working fine. Now it stops after three slides and you have to click the next arrow to get it moving again. My website is http://www.homejane.com. Any ideas gratefully received.

You will need to deactivate other plugins and eliminate these as being the cause. I suspect there is a plugin conflict with the javascript.

Also, does this happen in all browsers, or just one?

Great catch, Ade. I was going to add that it is only happening in Chrome. FF is O.K. I just noticed that. But it was working in Chrome. Unfortunately, I need all my plugins. None of them are new since this started happening.

Thanks for getting back to me.

Yes, I can see the issue.

Code doesn't just decide to break one day – something must have changed on your site. Ignoring that, for a moment, you have a couple of javascript errors thrown up by other scripts on your site. The only way to really see what is going on is to disable all other scripts to determine which one is causing the problem.

Uh oh. I have no clue about disabling javascripts. HTML is about it for me.

Thanks for taking the time.Confused

Unless you have coded them into your theme, they will be loaded by plugins. So, you will need to disable your plugins.

Scary. Will try. Why is it just in Chrome and not FF?

Again, thanks for helping.

I deactivated all but two plugins and still the same.

There is the following error: $('body') ,append('

Does that mean anything? Should I uninstall and reinstall the plugin?

Very difficult to see what's going on. You have loads of javascript being loaded, including prototype, and a javascript conflict is the most likely cause.

Something I did notice is that this image link is returning a 404:

Try fixing this to see if that makes any difference.

Thanks, Ade. We noticed that 404, but even when I remove that particular slide it doesn't help.

I have someone looking at it. Hopefully, we can find the problem.1

Thank you, Ade. It was the missing slide. I put it back and it is working.
