Is it possible for the description field to be coded to automatically pull the parent category, date of post, and title of post?

Hi,

Glad you like the plugin.

There are no options to do what you want, so you would need to hack the plugin to achieve this.

Look at includes/dfcg-gallery-constructors.php and includes/dfcg-gallery-constructors-jq-smooth.php.
