I would like to be able to have a custom permalink type that went off the postname/pagename but want them to still display in the Dynamic Content Gallery. Now I have achieved this using the ID Method and inputing my id's then changing my permalink type to the custom but as I change my gallery weekly for this client I would like to not have to switch to the id method add a page or change my display pages and then go back to my custom permalink settings. Please let me know if this is possible or could be an added feature.

No need to change your permalinks!
Use a plugin like Reveal IDs to display the ID numbers in the admin screens.
