I'm not using the mootools version and I have the description set to manual and nothing at all links to the post. How do I make at least clicking on the image take me to the post its displaying? The site is thewellversed dot com
Also I would like to be able to style the Headline so that it is left aligned rather than centered but I can't seem to find where to do that. Nothing I have tried works.
Thanks

OfflineHi,
Please provide more info when posting – what browser are you using and what's your URL?
4:35 am
I did thewellversed.com
It occurs in all browsers. IE Firefox Safari Chrome. Using jQuery with Manual descriptions nothing links to the blog post. Images are not linking as well. The only way we can get it to link is to put in the html to hyperlink in the manual description box which is what we are doing in the short term till the issue is resolved.
Image Management: auto
Gallery Method: one-category
Descriptions: Manual
Javascript Options: Jquery
Load Scripts: Home Page
Tools – Error Message options: on

OfflineHi,
There is a known issue with the jQuery version when viewed in IE – the main image links disappear. Works fine in Safari, FF and Chrome.
Mootools should work fine in all browsers, therefore your images should link.
For info, descriptions will only link to posts if you use Auto with the Read More functionality, or if you add allowed HTML markup in the DCG Metabox Slide Pane description or in the Default manual description (entered in the DCG Settings page > Descriptions tab).

ok well, now I'm getting frustrated because you are not reading what I am saying to you.
Mootools will not work on the site because it conflicts with the superfish navigation so the Mootools option is out. The gallery does nothing at all with Mootools on. I have to use the JQuery version. Having said that in IE, Firefox, Chrome and Safari the images do not link. So if they are supposed to in other browsers other than IE they do not. Please advise how I can correct. Thanks.

Are you talking about descriptions not linking or images not linking? If you re-read my previous post you will see that I have described the known issue with image linking when using jQuery in certain browsers.

NOTHING is linking in ANY browser.. Description, Image NOTHING. Using the configuration I have outlined above there is no way at all to link to the blog post from the Dynamic Content Gallery in ANY BROWSER. It does not work in FireFox, It does not work in Chrome, it does not work in Safari, It does not work in IE.
Simply put it does not work as anything but a nice picture slideshow that links no where.. in any browser available on the internet. I would be happy to provide you with login details so you can see for yourself. The ONLY way to get to the content from the Dynamic Content Gallery is to manually edit your post after publishing and put in a a href html code in the manual description box with a link to the post.

What's your URL? jQuery image linking works fine for me in FF, Safari and Chrome – only IE has the issue.

OfflineI really would like to help you, and I am trying to help you – despite your unpleasant attitude to someone giving you a FREE plugin and FREE support… Very disheartening….
Can you try something? Add this to your theme's style.css:
#dfcg-imglink {
display:block !important;
}
Then, check in as many browsers as you normally use and report back your results. Please mention success and failure for each browser and include browser version number and operating system used. Thanks.

I don't mean to have an attitude, I'm just frustrated as its been over a week just to try and explain what the issue was while being asked for information I'd already given and needing a fix pretty badly. I do appreciate the answer.
That worked in everything but IE8 which would be the jquery bug you spoke of. Any idea if or when that will be corrected? I appreciate the response. Best.

OfflineThanks for the feedback. Looks like there is a bug when navigation arrows are disabled. I'm working on a fix (the CSS fix I gave you is just a sticking plaster, but can be used in the meantime).
PS: Plugin support and development is provided in my free time – paid work takes priority, naturally, so while I make every effort to keep on top of support questions, there are only so many hours in the day…
