Okay so I have it set to custom post type News with Taxonomy Featured. When I have the last 5 posts in the custom post type of News to be included it works fine, but if it's not the latest inside of News, even if it is in Featured it won't show up at all. How can I fix this? It's very urgent.

So, what is showing, exactly? Help me to help you – provide your URL, and the URL of a post which you think should be in the DCG, but isn't.
