No Joy for IE9

Hello,

DCG works fine everywhere except in IE9 where it just shows blackbox with loading bar, I've tried everything out but no joy so far.
Then I've lately noticed than even the official DCG demo on http://www.studiograsshopper.ch/dynamic-content-gallery/ is not working on IE9!! so it's definitly not related to DCG or WP seetings…
I tried to reinstall IE9 but could not get rid of it, it just doesn't show up on Control Panel's uninstall program's list and it seems permissions are needed when you try to delete the IE9 folder manually.

I remember DCG working fine on previous IE versions but not after I have updated to IE9.

I suspect that the mootools script doesn't play nice with IE9. Just as a test, switch the DCG to use jQuery (see DCG Settings Page > Javascript Options tab), and let me know what happens. Thanks.

Hi Ade,

I have already tried that, but no joy again, the DCG just vanished from the page when I switched to jQuery…

As mentioned earlier I have same issue with your own DCG demo on this website when using IE9…it used to work well on previous versions of IE…I hope I wont be forced to exclude IE on my website footer :((

Hi,

IE9 works just fine. It seems something was wrong with my IE9 settings.
I have just gone back to IE8 before switching back to IE9, and then all worked like a charm, even with mootools enabled. Case closed. Cheers.
