Everything seems to be working great with the plugin, the only thing that confuses me is the picture in DCG. I have auot (default) option and use thumbnail posts, I just want them resized so you can see them … is this possible? What am I missing here?

Are you talking about the DCG's main images, or the thumbnails in the carousel?
The DCG doesn't resize the main images, nor does it crop them. If the main image is larger than the DCG dimensions, then you will only see part of the image. If the image is smaller, you should see the image with a black background filling the rest of the gallery space.
Thumbnails are resized using CSS (whcih isn't ideal).
Can you post your URL so that I can see what you are describing?
