Make title in slidepane into a link?

Right now, you have to click on the photo to go to the link. But I think most people instinctively click on text for links. Is there a way to make the titles in the slidepane into links?

The short answer is no, the title can't be a link. However, I'll look ibto it and see how much work would be required to change this.

This applies to the jQuery instance (if I were able to get the mootools instance to work, I'd post instructions for that, as well, but it should be similiar).

Change line 466 of dynamic-content-gallery-plugin/includes/dfcg-gallery-constructors-jq-smooth.php from:

$output .= "\n\t\t\t" . '<h3>' . get_the_title() . '</h3>';

to:

$output .= "\n\t\t\t" . '<h3><a href="'. get_permalink($id_found->ID) .'" title="Read More">' . get_the_title() . '</a></h3>';

Actually, it seems to me that if you can have a "Read More" link at the end of the auto description, why can't you have one appended to the end of the manual description? That would help, at least.

It seems like an odd difference between the two description methods… I agree with the original poster, most users don't seem to realize they have to click the image to get to the story. It would be great if there was the option to include a "Read more" link at the end of the manual description.

That's a good suggestion. Thanks.

Hi Ade,

I would love this functionality as well (either title is linkable or Read More link at the end of the manual description or both).

Thanks for a great plugin. Cool

Reed
