I want to add a flag image that overlays on the DCG similar to this… , but the image disappears behind it. Is this possible?

Yes, it may be possible. What code are you using to do this customisation? A link to your site would be useful, too.

Hi Ade,
Sure thing… here is the site.

I am using studiopress going green theme. You can see the arrow flag test on the left side of the FCG. It disappears behind it though.

Currently, I just use a css class to add the image in a text widget above the DCG widget on the homepage widget area.

Here is the CSS:

.slider-arrow {
background:url("/wp-content/themes/goinggreen/images/slider-arrow.png") no-repeat scroll 0 0 transparent;
color:#5A5A5A;
height:70px;
left:100px;
padding:0 0 0 24px;
position:absolute;
text-align:left;
top:250px;
width:304px;
}

I tried to change the transparent to "solid"…but that didn't work.

You will probably need to use z-index in the CSS you posted.
