i am using wp 3.0 version. dcg is working fine in my home page. i am displaying only one category posts. but i want to display that posts in my sidepanel. so how to retrive that post id's. please help.

i have two categorys named as news, movies . actually i am displaying only one category(example: news) posts in dcg. i am excluding some posts from that category(news) that donot display in dcg. so i want to pick only postids of posts which displaying in dcg( which not excluded from news category in dcg). why because i want to display that posts in my side panel. i hope you understood my problem.

You can use the "exclude" check box in the DCG Metabox for the relevant Posts in the News category. These will be ignored by the DCG.

thanks for your reply. i excluded posts in dcg meta box. every thing is working fine in gallery. but i want to retrive postids of posts which is displaying in dcg for use of display that posts in myside bar.

I think you are asking a general WP support question here…. :-/

You can find the post ID by going to Dashboard>Posts, then hover over the post title and you will see the ID in the URL in your browser status bar (in FF, bottom left).
