Hi,
You can see here http://www.midwestboardriders.com that the DCG is partially working.
First post uses Featured Image.
Second post has Featured Image.
Third post has image inserted into text.
Why do I get ERROR when employing the Featured Image on any post beyond the first post? I have created and deleted many posts to test this, and changed images so it's not the image that is the problem. Help!

Hi,
What is the URL of the Featured Image for the second post in the DCG?

All the images are in the same folder.
I just realized that the first post doesn't even have an image inserted or Featured so I'm stumped how that is even working.

Just as a test, try changing your Carousel Thumbnails to Post Thumbnails (DCG Settings page).

Are you sure you have Errors turned on? Also, the CSS tweak I gave you in another post doesn't seem to be there. (It's unrelated, but thought I'd mention it.)

I turned on Errors. It was not previously. Don't see a change.
The .css tweak is indeed in place.

The problem seems to be post 2 (the other two posts are displaying the correct image). Are you absolutely sure that you have attached an image to this post via the media uploader?
(Yes, I can see the CSS tweak now.)

Yes, I am sure. If I could upload a screenshot of the admin page you could see for yourself.
I played around with this issue for some time before coming to this forum. I added and deleted posts. I uploaded new photos. I swapped different photos into the same post. I tried every combination I could think of to get it to work.

It's weird because post #1 and #3 are working fine. So, logically, there must be something different about post #2…
If you have flickr or photobucket, upload a screenshot of the screens and post links here. Just a thought.
Alternatively, send me an admin login and password (via PM) and I'll take a look.

New login worked fine.
Ok, I fixed the problem. Although the second post had an assigned "Featured Image", the image was not "attached" to the post. The way I checked this was to go to Dashboard>Media and I could then see that image Random2.jpg was unattached. So, I atteched it, via the Media library, and all is now fine.
Actually, I learned something new today – assigning something as Featured Image doesn't automatically attach it to teh post unless the image is also inserted into the post.

I am afraid that I do not understand how to 'attach' an image. I see no 'attach' button. I looked in the media area and saw (1) unattached image – but no action button to 'attach'.
When I created a new post the error came up again.
I set a featured image and got the error. I inserted and then deleted the image from the post, and get the same error.
So how did you get the thing attached without inserting it? Are you saying that you get an error if the image is not inserted into the post? I definitely see you 'fixed' the original error but cannot for the life of me figure out how you did it.

Hi Dan,
"Attaching" an image means inserting it into the post – eg the same you did with the images in posts 1 and 3. What I was explaining is that simply setting a featured image without inserting it into the post does not "attach" the image – and the DCG looks for attached images. Make sense?

OK I see what you are saying – that is fine I can live with that if I have to, but I'm still perplexed because as I mentioned in my Post number 3 above:
