I'm using WP 3.0 and the DCG is displaying in Safari, FireFox, Opera and Chrome, not problem but just will not load in Internet Explorer.  The url is http://www.kristinegunn.com

 

I have tried switching to JQuery, reuploading theme files as well as WP and no success.

 

I've exhausted options and hope someone will be able to help.

Trish,

I don't have easy access to a Win machine at the moment, so can't check out what's happening in IE. The fact that it's working fine in FF, Safari, etc, suggests that a js conflict isn't the problem. The only thing I can think of is that IE can time out more quickly than other browsers. I haven't checked your image sizes, but it may be worth making sure that they are the smallest filesize you can get away with and still look decent.

I check out your website on Internet Explorer and i works now, how did you fix it?
I have the same problem, DCG works perfectly on Firefox (OS X and Windows), Safari (OS X and Windows), Chrome (OS X and Windows) but not on Internet Explorer, the first image is not loaded, it start to works only after I click on an arrow.

I use the JQuery version, if I use the Mootools version it's worst, it just display the loading image.

Ade, you talk about image sizes, do you talk about the weight or the width/height.

This website use the last version of WordPress (3.0.3) and the last version of DCG (3.3.5).

I deactivate all plugins and it still doesn't works.

I FOUND THE BUG… I explain maybe it will usefull for someone.
I try differents settings for DCG and when I activate the carrousel I found that one image wasn't display on Internet Explorer, I copy and paste the url of this image in Internet Explorer and it still doesn't show up… Internet Explorer can't display a jpg???
So I downloas this jpg on my computer and check the information about this image and I found it was save in CMYK color mode, I change to RGB, upload the image and… now DCG works on all browsers ;-)

Yes, IE doesn't play nice with CMYK images. Glad you sorted it out.

(PS: I may add this to the FAQ as this issue does come up from time to time.)
