All I'm getting is a black box with the load bar. I've tried disabling all my plugins and that doesn't seem to be the issue. The images display fine in Opera. What am I doing wrong??

The site is (I'm totally not done with the site yet so I apologize if it looks awful)

Hi,

The problem is shown clearly in your Page Source:

<div id="myGallery"><!– Start of Dynamic Content Gallery –>

Dynamic Content Gallery Error: View page source for details.

<!– DCG Error Message 13: The Post for Image Slot 1 could not be found. –>
<!– Rating: Critical. Fix error in order to display gallery. –>
<!– This is because the plugin has set a default category for this Image Slot, but there are no posts in this category. –><!– Fix: Go to the DCG Settings page and click Save Changes. The error should then clear itself. –>
</div><!– End of Dynamic Content Gallery output –>
</div>

There aren't any posts in the catgeory you have selected.

What Gallery Method are you using?

I'm using the Multi-option. The drop down carrot is there, but there isn't any categories listed. I have set up categories for the images though. I also have "URL to default "Category" images folder" filled out with the proper folder.

Ok, but do you have any posts in the category you have selected for Image Slot 1 (DCG Settings > Gallery Method tab)?

Your Catgory Select dropdown (ist screenshot you posted) should show the category name "images1". What do you see when you click one of those dropdowns?

I see a white box. There are no categories listed in any of the drop downs for any of the gallery methods.

When I checked it this morning, the drop down box was empty and now, for some reason, the category showed up! So I got it to work in FireFox. It's still not working in IE though =[

I figured it out. In order for the plugin to work in IE, the posts cannot be private. I was only using this plugin to display my artwork, not my posts. Thanks for your help though!

Thanks for posting back. I'll check that out and see if I can patch that for a future release.

In the meantime, glad you sorted it out. Smile

Did you check the FAQ? Looks like you have a javascript conflict, so switch to jQuery (DCG Settings page > Javascript Options tab).

I was using DCG with no problems until I changed servers yesterday. I can't figure out how to fix it. I've looked through the FAQ and help sections of this website already. I use full url, multi-option. I changed it to jquery as per a suggestion in the help and this didn't work. I'm guessing my problem is URL for the source category images.

These are my error messages:

Your active key Settings:
Image File Management: full URL
Gallery Method: multi-option | Default Images folder is: http://www.rememberwhenwe.com/wp-content/uploads/
Slide Pane Description: manual
Page Source Error messages: on | Javascript Framework used: mootools
Scripts restricted to: Home Page

I appreciate your time.

Hi,

The problem seens to be the first post "Raising resiliant kids". The DCG is looking for this image:

/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/20110415_Resilience.jpg

but it doesn't seem to exist. Check via FTP whether or not that image exists.
