Hi-

Loving the Dynamic Content Gallery plugin – not sure why I didn't jump on the bandwagon until recently, but it's great!

I design sites for independent auto repair shops, and most of them use an automated content plugin (Listpipe) that delivers video posts from an industry site (AutoNet.TV) once a week. I've found some plugins that work in conjunction with DCG to automatically grab thumbnails from Google Video, Vimeo, Youtube, etc to place into the DCG slideshow automatically. The videos referenced in these posts are hosted on their own site, so I was wondering if there was a way to edit the plugin to parse the code and use the thubmnails from the videos. In Wordpress's HTML view, the video embed code looks like this:

<object width="400" height="320" data="http://autonettv.com/media/mediaplayer.swf&quot; type="application/x-shockwave-flash">
<param name="flashvars" value="file=http://autonettv.com/media/BrakeService_Brittani_ChromaKey_Report_v3.flv&amp;image=http://autonettv.com/media/thumbs/BrakeService_Brittani_ChromaKey_Report_v3.jpg&amp;autostart=false" />
<param name="src" value="http://autonettv.com/media/mediaplayer.swf&quot; />
<param name="AllowScriptAccess" value="always" />
</object>

In the flashvars values, the video file names are indicated (FLV format), and the thumbnail images are clearly stated as well. I figured since the thumbnail file names are listed out, there'd be a way to make this happen in conjunction with the "Auto" Image Management setting in DCG – posting the most recent post in the Slideshow, and grabbing the video's listed thumbnail for the image. Would this be possible? Thanks!
