OfflineDCG Metabox cannot be viewed on edit post page, even after I check the box under "Show on Screen" within the "Screen Options". Any help appreciated. Thanks.

OfflineWhen you say "can't be viewed", do you mean it doesn't show at all, or what exactly?
Which gallery method are you using?
Is this a new install of the DCG?

OfflineWhen I check the "Dynamic Content Gallery Metabox" box, it doesn't show at all, you're correct. All the other options will appear and disappear properly when their respective boxes are checked and unchecked.
Gallery method is "Multi Option".
I installed DCG last week for first time. I'm using the widget. It basically seems to be functioning fine in my sidebar.
Thanks for helping, Ade.

OfflineStrange. I haven't come across this issue before.
Have you deactivate other plugins to rule out plugin conflicts?

OfflineOk…
Are you using any custom post types and/or custom taxonomies on your site?

OfflineSorry but I don't know if there are custom taxonomies or post types on my site. My site design knowledge is quite limited.
I did notice something DCG related. On the main "Posts" page, under "Screen Options", the DCG Image and DCG Desc boxes are checked and the respective columns appear below in the posts list. And they all say "None" for value.
Also, on the main "Pages" page, DCG Image, DCG Desc, DCG Page Sort, are checked and also appear in the pages list. And the values are "None".
Thanks again.

OfflineThis is really puzzling. I think the only way we will get to the bottom of this is for me to take a look at your setup. Can you send me an admin login and password via PM (private message)?

OfflineGregory,
It's visible now.
Basically, you had set the Write Post "Screen Options" to one column, and the DCG Metabox only displays in column two. So, I checked "2 columns" and the DCG Metabox and it now appears as expected.

OfflineThanks for fixing the metabox.
Something else happened though. Basically DCG stopped working a few hours afterwards. No images or heading or anything were displayed. I went to "Javascript Options" and when I changed it from Mootools to jQuery, DCG started working again.
It's no big deal to have the jQuery instead, I just preferred to have that cool slide-left transition.
Thank you for getting the metabox to show again.

Plugiuns don't just stop working for no reason.
Did you upgrade another plugin? Did you write a new post? If the latter, did you check that you had added an image for the DCG?
Switch back to mootools and then click the carousel button to see which image is missing.

OfflineYes, it is possible that you had a conflict with one of the plugins you were testing, but this would have cleared once the other plugin had been deactivated.
Anyway, if it's working now and you're happy – great!
