I upgraded to 3.3.2 as soon as it came out. I had been getting the red warning message about updating my theme re: wp thumbnails. DCG had continued to work fine until today when all of a sudden – it just quit!

I added the recommended text to my functions.php. The warning went away, but gallery still doesn't display. I followed advice on other posts, ie – switching to Legacy and changing to jQuery. Still nothing. Box is there, carousel shows loading indicator, descriptions come up, just no pics.

Mark,

The image for your Fall Fun post doesn't exist. This is causing the problem.

I reloaded the pic, deleted the link in the thumb custom field, and inserted the new one – still nada…

Okay, I just deleted the post and for whatever reason, it started working again. However, the pics are no longer centered and there is a dark gray shade across the title; I'm going to try reverting back to my old settings and see what happens. Let's keep this thread alive a little longer.

Thanks! ~MK

Okay, the title in the slide pane is now highlighted in gray which I do not want. I can't find a configuration for that. Also, the pics are now justified against the top of the gallery rather than centered as they used to be. How can I fix these two issues?

Thank you!

P.S. – Oh, and the animate slide pane setting isn't working. I have the box UNCHECKED which says: "Check the box to have Slide Pane slide into view. Default is CHECKED."

I do not want the slide pane sliding into view. Have saved settings, cleared cache, cleared cookies, closed browser, tried it in other browsers – still sliding!!

In IE, the pic is really justified weird…

Not sure I follow you. What has a thumb custom field got to do with the DCG?

Also, what key settings are you using? Image Management? Gallery Method? Javascript framework? The more info the better, thanks.

Hey Ade ~ That's a big "Oops!" – I meant I changed the image url in the DCG Metabox on the post page to the new link after reloading the pic – it still didn't work, so I deleted the entire post for now.

Here is my info:
—————-
Your current key Settings:

Image Management: full URL
Carousel Thumbnails: post-thumbnails
Gallery Method: one-category | Default Images folder is: http://www.lakehillsfmc.com/wp-content/uploads/images-dfc/
Descriptions: manual
Javascript Options: mootools
Load Scripts: Home Page
Tools – Error Message options: on

Hi,

Ok, understood.

Well, the DCG is working fine now. Try re-doing the post "Fall Fun" – the problem was that the image URL was incorrect.

Ade, I'm sorry for wasting your time. After leaving it overnight, I came in this morning and everything's working like a champ, including a new post I uploaded to test it out. I don't understand this, since I had totally cleared my cache, etc., but there it is. Thanks for your help! ~MK
