The error message in your source says it all:

<!– Fix: Upload a suitable image to this Post/Page via the Media Uploader, or enter an image URL in the DCG Metabox Image URL field …

You need to attach an image to these posts, or enter the URLs in the in-post DCG metabox.

Why are you changing images? The whole idea of the plugin is that the posts featured in the DCG chnage, but only one image is associated with the post. If you want a slideshow, you should use a different plugin.

First off – Thanks for such a brilliant slide plugin. I tried loads but DCG is the best.

I am having the same "issue" as the original poster. I created some posts with a category "slides" & then used the single category option in the gallery. Everything works perfectly, but if you then decide to change the post image by replacing it with another image from your wp media list, although your post displays the updated image correctly, the gallery fails to pickup the change & displays the "error" missing image. Error code 16.

It's not a huge problem. I can recreate the post by uploading a new image instead of selecting one from the wp media list. I just wanted to know if this behaviour is expected?

Anyway – thanks again & keep up the fantastic work :)

Hi,

Glad you like the plugin. Smile

Actually, what you describe is expected behaviour. The DCG uses the first image attachment to populate the gallery. Therefore, if you decide to upload a new image to an existing post, the DCG won't pick up the new image.

I would recommend trying out the version 4 beta (see link near the top of this page). Version 4 populates the DCG via the Featured Image – therefore you can swap images in and out to your heart's content.

Awesome.
I'll try out the beta, but still delighted with the existing version.
Thanks

Hi,

Re Image sizes, you need to change the gallery height and width in the DCG Settings, Save the settings, then run Regenerate Thumbnails.
