OfflineDid you check whether you have a javascript conflict?

Hello,
I love this plugin :D I just can't get it to work yet. I registered an additional sidebar in functions.php and added the code to my custom template, which is a landing page. I added the your widget to the new sidebar. I only get a black box with an animated loading graphic, like the other poster here on the forums. I'm getting a js error in jd.gallery 1 2 3 4.js:
element.getElements(options.elementSelector).each(function(el) (line 175)
I'm running the latest WP install on my Mac using MAMP Pro. I've disabled all other plugins. I've gone through your plugin setup several times now but with no success.
What could be the problem?
Thanks,
DC

A bit more testing and a bit more info…
I'm using the HTML5 boilerplate template to develop my custom theme: http://html5boilerplate.com
I noticed upon switching to the standard Twenty Ten theme your plugin works. So perhaps the js error is a result of conflicting file paths or something?
Recommendations?
Thanks,
DC

What's your URL?

Ok… I decided to hack away a bit more, as setting up a dev site and then xferring my WP install to it is more work than I have time for right now.
Happy to report I found the problem and your plugin is working fine now :)
The JS conflict was in footer.php of the html5 boilerplate template:
<script src="<a href="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/….." rel="nofollow" target="_blank">http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.4.2/…..</a>;
<script>!window.jQuery && document.write('<script src="<?php echo $GLOBALS["TEMPLATE_RELATIVE_URL"] ?>html5-boilerplate/js/jquery-1.4.2.min.js"><\/script>')</script>
Since it seems to be a fallback I went ahead and removed it. The caused the plugin to begin functioning properly.
I'd like to put it back, so if you could possibly explain why you think this conflict was happening it would be a lesson well-learned and much appreciated.
Thanks!
DC

Hello,
Another update:
Although I've been able to get your plugin to work (and indeed, its a very nice plugin -thanks for your hard work on it!), it seems to have conflicts with any other plugin that utilizes the jQuery library. An good example is the jQuery lightbox plugin. If I install a plugin or one like it I get the same results as I first reported.
Is this a conflict with where the library is stored in the theme or..?
Thanks,
DC
